چکیده
ABSTRACT: Urinary bladder damages leading to few viable tissue available might demand a challenging reconstructive surgery. In this context, biomaterials are valid alternatives for reconstruction. This study evaluated the bovine tunica albuginea fragment as graft material cystoplasty in rats and honey-preserved implant viability.Thirty Wistar were assigned two groups: (1) test group (T) with circular 1.0-cm-diameterbovine application apex region by continuous absorbable (Polyglactin 910 5-0) suture stitching of all layers (2) simulation (S) which animals underwent only partial cystectomy. addition, each these groups was further divided into three subgroups according euthanasia period on post-surgery day 7, 15 30.Two had self-limiting hematuria at postsurgical period. At necropsy, frequent crystals adhesion peritoneum observed. histopathological evaluation, from T euthanized 15th postoperative disorganization initial muscle development, while 30th showed complete urothelization. Urothelization pattern similar both groups. Moreover, muscular layer formation present groups, but more evident S animals. Nevertheless, inflammatory infiltrate neovascularization remarkably intense rats.It be concluded that successful repairing rats’ bladder, being good biomaterial option urinary vesicle

PURPOSE To assess the efficacy of tunica albuginea urethroplasty for pan urethral stricture management as an alternative approach to conventional dorsal buccal mucosal graft urethroplasty, especially in cases with unavailability of healthy buccal mucosa. MATERIALS AND METHODS Eighty-six patients with panurethral strictures underwent tunica albuginea urethroplasty at our center with follow-ups...

Several andrological diseases require surgical repair or reconstruction of tunica albuginea, which envelops the corpora cavernosa penis. Despite intense research efforts involving a variety of biological materials, such as skin, muscle aponeurosis, human dura mater, tunica vaginalis, and pericardium, engineered tunica albuginea suitable for graft use is yet to be obtained. The study investigate...
متن کاملBenign cystic lesion of the tunica albuginea: a case report.
We describe a patient whose testicular parenchyma was displaced by a cyst. Histologic findings suggested that the cyst was a dilated efferent ductule passing through the tunica albuginea. Such a cyst is an important and benign consideration in the differential diagnosis of testicular masses. Although orchiectomy was performed in this case, early consideration and confirmation of benign lesions ...
متن کاملSuperficial Tunica Albuginea Rupture as Initial Starting Point of Peyronie's Disease: A Topic for Interdisciplinary Consideration
Peyronie's disease is a connective tissue disorder in the soft tissue of the penis. The underlying cause of Peyronie's disease is not well understood but is thought to be caused by trauma or injury to the penis during sexual intercourse. The purpose of the interdisciplinary cooperation between urological surgery and physics is the development of a physical simulation tool in order to give progn...
